The Gourmandine is a family business
The Gourmandine is owned by the Serreau family. We started with a restaurant business 10 years ago in an old inn in the center of Chatellerault.
In 2003, when M. Serreau and his wife Dominique, manager of the Gourmandine, saw this building, they fell in love with it and knew they had to buy it. They then renovated the building to make it an up market hotel full of charm and tranquility. Our son, Julien Serreau, and his best friend, Brice Joseph, joined us in our new project. Since childhood, their ambition was to be a top chef. Their experience and training allow us to offer food to the highest standard.
A close friend of Julien, Céline Bigot, joined the team. Céline has worked previously in the prestigious “la Coupole” in Paris and “le Kilimandjaro” in Courchevel. She is responsible for maintaining the high standard of the restaurant.
